AirNow Cooling & Heating, Millbrook, Ala., launched its Cool Kids Contest Jan. 15, 2014, a contest designed to recognize the talents of young people in the AirNow service region.
Local residents are encouraged to sign up at AirNow’s FaceBook page to receive instructions on how to complete their entry. AirNow designed the contest to be easy to enter. Entrants simply are asked to complete a brief form, submit a Cool Kid description, along with a photo or video. Parents and grandparents are especially encouraged to enter.
The contest was planned to showcase the lives, hopes, talents and value of the young people in the Metropolitan Montgomery, Ala., area. The winner will receive a prize of $500 for the purchase of groceries.
Entries are due March 31, 2014, after which three finalists will be selected. The winner to be chosen by voting on Facebook.
