A recent AirNow Cooling & Heating customer received an unexpected surprise when he received a call broadcast live on the radio announcing he was the winner of a drawing for a complete heating and air conditioning system.
Terry Barrett and James Merritt, general managers of AirNow, Millbrook, Ala., were live on the air at Mix 103.3 FM Radio, Montgomery, Ala., when on-air radio personality Jamie “JT” Thompson, from the JT and Leanne, Married with Microphones show called area resident John Gray to let him know he had won the AirNow Cooling & Heating System Give-Away Contest.
The prize was full re-imbursement of the complete purchase price of an AirNow heating and cooling system installed at Gray’s residence August 2013, totaling $7,954.
“I can’t believe it,” Gray said during the live broadcast. “I’m just overwhelmed. I never won anything in my life. Thank you very much.”
The contest was planned to compliment the spirit of giving during the holiday season, Barrett said.
“It’s always about giving back at Christmas time,” Barrett said. “It’s always great to get an unexpected gift.”
